Wood-steel joints and reinforcements

From 27.-29. On January, the event „Holz Kleben 2020“ will take place in Vienna at Holzforschung Austria. The focus here is on „wood-steel joints and reinforcements“. In Austria adhesive work has recently been regulated in the national annex to the Eurocode of ÖNORM B 1995-1-1, Annex L. A prerequisite for the execution of this work, however, is a trained personnel. The new focus course „Wood-steel joints and reinforcements“ of Holzforschung Austria deals with this topic in detail. Contents for the production of load-bearing adhesive joints in the form of glued-on reinforcements, bonded-in steel components and composite components that are not regulated in the harmonized standards are dealt with.
